Do you see the Bear? While out looking at property I, and most of Penrose, saw this bear up a tree. It's unusual to see a wild bear this close to town. There was a wild life officer watching over the area. The DOW officer said the bear walked down the creek and made himself at home in the tree. Penrose is a sleepy community in Fremont County Colorado, where highway 50 and highway 115 come together.
